Keynote Speakers
Rand Fishkin is the CEO & Co-Founder of the web’s most popular SEO Software provider; SEOmoz. He co-authored the Art of SEO from O’Reilly Media and was named on the 40 Under 40 List and 30 Best Young Tech Entrepreneurs Under 30. Rand has been written about in The Seattle Times, Newsweek and PC World among others and keynoted conferences on search around the world. He’s particularly passionate about the SEOmoz blog, read by tens of thousands of search professionals each day. In his minuscule spare time, Rand enjoys the company of his amazing wife, whose serendipitous travel blog chronicles their journeys.
Dave Taylor has been involved with the Internet since 1980 and is widely recognized as an expert on both technical and business issues. He has been published over a thousand times, launched four Internet-related start-up companies, has written twenty business and technical books and holds both an MBA and MS Ed. Dave maintains four weblogs: The Business Blog at Intuitive.com, Ask Dave Taylor, Dave On Film, and Go Fatherhood! Dave is an award-winning speaker, sought after conference and workshop participant and frequent guest on radio and podcast programs.
Stephen Koch is a professional speaker, climber, snowboarder and mountain guide and is a pioneer in the field of Snowboard Mountaineering, a term he coined. His list of alpine ascents and descents include some of the most notable firsts anywhere in the world, most of which have never been repeated. He is the first person to snowboard all the major Teton Peaks in Wyoming, and the first and only person to snowboard on all Seven Summits, the highest peak on each continent. Networking is the name of the game! Organize your networking opportunities before the show by viewing other attendees, scheduling one-on-one meetings and planning your conference schedule via our social network dedicated to this event (launching August 1st). The AvantExpo social network will be powered by Pathable.com, and will include free profiles for all attendees who register. Email notifications with login information will be sent to all registrants on August 1st.
We also recommend that you get to the conference as early as possible on Wednesday as our first keynote starts at 4:30 pm MST followed promptly by dinner.
Registration & Lodging
Registration for AvantExpo will be capped at 200 attendees on a first-come, first-serve basis. Early ticket prices are $250 per person ($350 after July 10, 2012). Tickets include meals and full access to all tracks and sessions at the show.
Rooms available for a discounted $129 a night (plus taxes and fees). The Chateaux has also made those same rates available up to two days before and two days after the official conference dates should attendees wish to stay and experience more of Park City. Rooms at The Chateaux are limited and will be reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis, however, other discounted lodging options are available if rooms at The Chateaux sell out.
