Liftopia is different from other sites out there, in that we partner directly with ski resorts to offer exclusive, "by-day" deals that they can adjust at any time. Much like an airline or hotel, Liftopia resorts can adjust their prices up and down at any time for specific days, and customers purchase tickets for specific days in advance. About Liftopia:

The Liftopia founders used to work at Hotwire.com, so we know online travel, yield management, and how to get customers to convert on our site. After our successful test season last year with a limited number of resort partners, Liftopia is approaching the 2007/2008 season with 40-50 resorts offering discount lift tickets, learn to ski packages, as well as other ski resort based activities. Because we merchandise our inventory much like an online travel site, Liftopia generates many repeat customers, which allows you to take advantage of our 120 day cookie rotation.

This season, Liftopia is aggresively building its brand via both traditional SEM and SEO tactics, as well as through our own "the Lodge" social network, Facebook, the Liftopia Myspace Page, ski and snowboard message boards, and through extensive PR outreach. In addition to our ongoing marketing tactics, Liftopia has launched a new design focused on one thing, converting customers. Our new purchase path cut down our "clicks to purchase" by 20%, and we are obsessive with our focus on conversion. Behind the scenes we are always fine tuning our landing pages, purchase path, messaging, and merchandising.
