SnoCon opened in October 1990 in a 1,000 square foot space in Seattle, Washington. We've been there from the start and that first year SnoCon sold brands like Kemper, MBoo, Avalanche, Powderstick, and Gnu. We've been able to survive in the Land of Nordstrom and the Valley of Costco with our combination of great staff and the widest selection of snowboard gear and apparel.
Being based in Seattle has kept us close to the action. Snowboard companies K2, Ride, Lib Tech, Gnu, and Capita are all based in the same city and keep us updated with the inside view of news and technology. Our close proximity to legendary Mt. Baker and year-round riding at Mt. Hood allow our staff to be the most experienced and knowledgeable in the realm of snowboarding.
