The AvantLink story began with founder and CEO Scott Kalbach, who developed the network’s early technology while working full-time as a software engineer. Originally designed as a third-party affiliate tool, his product evolved into a full network platform designed to serve content creators and publishers with integrity. Over a decade ago, AvantLink further cemented that commitment by launching AvantMetrics (now Insights), becoming one of the first networks to introduce commission sharing for affiliate attribution, supporting transparency and rewarding the full path to conversion.

From the beginning, AvantLink distinguished itself by leading with content. In a time before influencer culture and creator marketing, the company prioritized partnerships with bloggers, gear reviewers, and enthusiast-driven publishers.
