Big News: Item Based Commission Update Released!

The AvantLink team is eager to share our latest update with you, as many network partners have requested this one!  

We are excited to share many new features, as previously, merchant advertisers were required to update their IBC (Item Based Commission) rules via their datafeed. 

Moving forward, merchant advertisers can  

  • Build new rules in the AvantLink platform 
  • Rules can be associated to one affiliate, a tag group of affiliates, or all active affiliates 
  • Rules can now be configured to various attributes like SKUS, Product Categories, Brand Names, and more 
  • New rule types include Promotion Rate, Demotion Rate, Commission Increase, and Fixed Rate 
  • Rules can now be set to start and end dates 
  • Merchant advertisers can offer 0% commission on specific products 

These changes allow merchant advertisers better flexibility in creating promotions around specific products, maintaining profitability for low-margin items, and MAP pricing.
